NJ69 VXR
Beige Mini Cooper
NJ69 VXR is yet another non-resident vehicle using Hollingdean as a free storage site. This Mini first appeared on Hollingbury Crescent in the latter half of 2024 and has moved once since.
Despite being in seemingly good condition, the vehicle has remained parked in virtually the same position for months, having only moved on one occasion. At that point, it was simply returned to almost the exact same spot. For all intents and purposes, it appears to have been abandoned.
This is a textbook case of non-residents treating Hollingdean as a long-term car park rather than parking their vehicle in the controlled zone that the owner lives in. As with many others, this vehicle contributes to the already severe lack of available parking for actual residents here.
It remains to be seen whether this Mini will eventually move again or if it will simply continue to take up valuable space indefinitely, much like so many other vehicles left here by owners who have no connection to the area.
