Black Mini Cooper
Residents report that this Mini is another non-resident vehicle, which belongs to an individual who chooses to use Hollingdean to store their vehicle whilst living elsewhere in the city.
This Mini tends not to move for several days at a time when parked here, and is left as close as the driver is able to achieve to the corner of Fiveways, where they are described as leaving on foot to continue their journey.
This is also a vehicle notorious for squeezing into spaces that are either too small for the vehicle to fit, or for the driver's ability to park in, without bumping and pushing back and forth against cars already parked on the street.
For Hollingdean residents, it is extremely common to find that their car has been damaged in this way by non-residents who don't have the common decency to obtain a permit for the area in which they live, and symaltaneously simply do not have the driving (or parking) ability to actaully park here without causing damage to others.
It is - perhaps - notable that there was not a single report of this vehicle at all from mid-July until early September, a period during which university students tend to go back to their parental homes.
As with the literal hundreds of other vehicles also using our streets in this way, this selfish use of our streets simply reduces the amount of space available to the residents who live here whilst simultaneously increasing noise, pollution, and congestion.
