DF65 ZZV
Black Volvo XC60
Residents have frequently reported and sent photographs of this vehicle, parked outside the same address on Hollingbury Crescent in Hollingdean.
This SUV does not belong to a local resident but is understood to be a visitor to the area.
The driver does not appear to want to find an actual parking space for their vehicle, opting instead to park right up on the curb across double yellows, immediately upon the junction with Adam's Close.
This is a tricky junction at the best of times, and impossible to see out of as a driver when a vehicle is parked like this.
Being parked and blocking the pavement also means that it is impossible for pedestrians, wheelchair users, or people pushing buggies to get past without being forced out into the road.
It is important to note that this vehicle does not (and has never) displayed a blue badge, which would not allow parking in this manner anyway.
This vehicle is seen parked like this very commonly: especially on weekend evenings and overnight.
Residents also report that this Volvo is frequently parked half on the pavement, and blocking disabled spaces (whilst not displaying a valid blue card).
This is one of several cars that park in this manner immediately outside this address. It is assumed that the Hollingdean residents they are visiting actively encourage them to park in this fashion.
