Black Kia Rio
This Kia belongs to a family living in Zone G - adjacent to the corner of Hollingdean with Hollingbury Crescent.
Two years ago, the car gained some notoriety with Hollingdean residents when it arrived on the back of a lorry and was left at the top of Hollingbury Crescent - as close as the owner could leave it to their residence for 'free'.
The owner then occasionally worked on it, using load tools early in the morning and late at night.
The vehicle then sat in Hollingdean for several months, untaxed and with an expired MOT. It was often left with left beneath it collecting various fluids and, at one point, spent nearly two weeks with the wheels removed on jack stands, which meant it swayed precariously each time a larger vehicle passed it.
In September of that year (having been unmoved for many months), the owner obtained a resident's permit and began using it regularly, parking it at their own home outside of Hollingdean.
Recently, this vehicle has returned to Hollingdean; the resident's parking permit for Zone G has expired and remains displayed in the windscreen.
It is now parked further down Hollingbury Crescent than it was last left, but at the time of publishing has not moved in three months.
