Hollingdean Parking

WG10 NPK

Black Ford Focus

  • This Ford Focus is owned by a resident of Hollingbury Road, in controlled zone G.

  • Despite living in an area with residential parking permits, the owner instead uses Hollingdean to park their vehicle.

  • As with many other vehicles, the owner of this Focus makes a point of parking themselves as close as they are able to their own home. This means even more undue pressure and non-resident vehicles compressed into the absolute corner of Hollingdean up against Fiveways.

  • This not only reduces the amount of (very scarce) parking space available for actual local residents, but it also means that those same residents are left to deal with the increased noise, pollution, and congestion caused by individuals like this using their streets as a free car park.

  • The simple solution for this would be for the owner to take responsibility for their vehicle and where they have chosen to live, and simply purchase a permit for their vehicle.
