RK15 DMU

White Mercedes Sprinter

  • RK15 DMU is a very large commercial vehicle belonging to Removals Brighton.

  • In February 2023, residents of Hollingbury Crescent began reporting that this vehicle had been abandoned on Hollingbury Crescent.

  • For the benefit of any doubt, this was not a vehicle actively carrying out a job in the area, nor was it associated with any of the local residents. Instead, it was simply left blocking a driveway and parked precariously over the pavement, creating significant disruption for pedestrians and homeowners.

  • The lorry remained in place without any sign of the owner for over a week before eventually disappearing again just as mysteriously as it had arrived.

  • It should be noted that Removals Brighton is well-known locally for dumping their large vehicles on residential streets between jobs, many others with their branding have been reported across Hollingdean previosuly.

  • This serves as yet another example of how non-residents - and in this case, commercial businesses - use Hollingdean as a dumping ground for their vehicles, leaving locals to deal with the inconvenience.
