Hollingdean Parking

P219 TUF

Cream Volkswagen Transporter

  • P219 TUF is quite possibly one of the most neglected vehicles left in Hollingdean. It is an ageing camper van that appears to have been abandoned entirely.

  • Covered in moss and green growth, it has clearly not moved in many months - one resident has reported that it has not moved in many years. Nobody in the area knows who owns it, yet it continues to occupy valuable space on our streets.

  • Adding to residents' concerns, the van has been left with bricks beneath its wheels, presumably to prevent it from rolling away due to its deteriorating condition. This has only reinforced residents' belief that it has been dumped here indefinitely.

  • Multiple residents have raised this vehicle as an issue, but like so many other unwanted camper vans, it remains untouched. It is yet another example of non-residents using Hollingdean as a long-term vehicle storage site at the expense of those who actually live here.
