Hollingdean Parking

LD59 ONA

Black Daewoo Matiz

  • LD59 ONA is a small black Daewoo that residents recognise as belonging to a non-resident from the nearby Fiveways area.

  • It is yet another vehicle being kept in Hollingdean simply because the owner chooses not to pay for a permit for the controlled zone where they actually live.

  • The car rarely moves, and when it does, it is consistently returnes straight back to Hollingdean.

  • This is not short-term parking or a one-off visit. It is long-term storage, using unrestricted streets as a substitute for taking responsibility for parking at home.

  • Even though the vehicle itself is small, the impact is the same as any other non-resident car left here indefinitely. It removes usable space from residents, increases congestion in the surrounding streets, and reinforces the ongoing pattern of permit-zone displacement into Hollingdean.
