  • The vehicle displays a valid permit for Zone N in central Hove; it does not belong to local residents or their visitors.

  • This is a daily commuter vehicle which uses Hollingdean for free parking near town.

  • Residents report that GY68 EHU arrives every weekday morning (and often on Saturdays too) and leaves again the same evening.

  • Residents note the driver is particularly aggressive and has often been reported for gesturing, honking, and yelling at residents to move so that they can then park in the space they are vacating.

  • The driver parks as close as they can to the West edge of Hollingdean before continuing their journey towards Fiveways on foot. This takes up what little free space is available to residents in a very congested area of Hollingdean around Hollingbury Crescent and Stanmer Park Road.

  • Since January 2024, this vehicle has been replaced by GV73 WBP, driven by the same individual, in the same manner, and using Hollingdean in exactly the same way for 'free' parking.
