Hollingdean Parking

Black Volkswagen Polo

  • Residents report that this Polo is often parked in Hollingdean during the weekends.

  • It does not belong to a Hollingdean resident, nor to one of their visitors.

  • It is assumed that the driver is either visiting or lives in one of the controlled parking zones and is using Hollingdean as 'free' parking.

  • Individuals choosing to park in this manner, rather than obtaining a permit for their own vehicle, for the area that they either live or are visiting, adds additional unnecessary pressure on the parking in Hollingdean.

  • In an already congested area, the addition of hundreds of non-resident vehicles using Hollingdean in this manner makes it extremely difficult (if not impossible) for actual residents to find parking for their own vehicles.
