Hollingdean Parking

GF59 UKY

White Kia Picanto

  • This little unloved Kia is yet another suspected abandoned vehicle left in Hollingdean.

  • Sharing some stark similarities with LC03 FYJ, residents report that this vehicle first appeared in Hollingdean - parked in Upper Hollingdean Road - immediately after the resident permit still displayed in its windscreen expired in August 2022.

  • This car does not move for several months at a time, often only disappearing for a matter of hours (presumedly to obtain a new MOT) before being dumped back in Hollingdean for another extended stretch.

  • The MOT history for this Kia shows that it has travelled just seventy miles in the past year, and only 2,500 in the past five years. The entire rest of the time, it has been left here in Hollingdean, adding to the congestion, frustration, and at the expense of local residents.

  • For the benefit of any doubt, residents are confident that this vehicle does not belong to a resident. We have received two reports that suggest that the owner is seen (when they do move it) to walk back towards Fiveways rather than into Hollingdean.
